Why upcycle?

Wanting to creatively re-use some of the trash or other objects you aren’t using from around your house?

A closeup of an origami newspaper pot filled with soil in front of a tray filled with more soil-filled origami pots.

Why not upcycle them into something more useful, or just more fun like this origami flower pot?

I love upcycling because it’s resourceful and can be helpful to the environment because it keeps things from going to waste like this Earring holder made from scrap wood and cork !Jewelry display holders made from wood, corks, and metal hooks

If you have any upcycling project ideas that you’d like to see here, feel free to send your ideas my way. I’d love to try them out for myself and share your ideas with others. (Yes, I’m happy to credit you!)
